no more familiar smiles.. those of my parents.. those of my sister..

no more familiar buddies.. those frequent members of mr bean & happy daze..

no more familiar nightlife.. those hanging around orchard road at 3am in the morning..

now all the new faces.. those i have never in my life seen before..

now all the new voices.. those with accents who dun understand mine..

now all the new walks.. those to school or to the city.. or those to the tram stop..

now all the new smiles.. those who pity me for being the only international student..

now all the new challenges.. those who test me time and time again..



now i just want all the familiar..
but all i have is the new..
though the trials and all..
all i gotta say.. is thank you i love u..
