what a day in school today. first day of my orientation and it has been on such a bad start. firstly, desma, the international students advisor, seemed so unfriendly when i simply asked for the orientation schedule. i dun understand why local students are able to get their schedule online while international students dun even have a shit of information anywhere accessible. ugh. secondly, the rest of the international students (not mentioning from where) disgust me totally with their kiasu attitude and rude behaviour. i was trying to sign up for some workshop and they totally just cut my queue and dun even let me write first when i am the one with the pen. tells alot about the country they are from. how disgusting. lastly, they invited current international students to come talk to us and they got all of them from the same country. and all these students talked about is how their education system back home is different from the australian education system. it was such a total waste of time. at least baby was there with me through the second half of the orientation for today. thank you so much for calming me down thru lunch and throughout the rest of the day. without u i would have killed someone i guess. anyway.. i just cant wait for wed when i finally get down to settling details about my course and all. wish they din have to go thru such a big round and waste all that time trying to disgust me. ugh. hope the coming few days would be better. i hope soo.
